Gwyneth Paltrow And Kids Attend “Uncle Jay’s” Concert With Kanye
He’s known the world over as hip-hop superstar Jay-Z. But to Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and her two kids he’s simply “Uncle Jay.”
Paltrow tweeted a picture of eight-year-old daughter Apple and six-year-old son Moses throwing up Jay-Z’s famous diamond cutter hand sign at the rapper’s “Watch The Throne” tour stop in London with Kanye West over the weekend.
She added the tweet message, “Yup. Uncle Jay at the O2.”
It’s no secret that Paltrow and husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, are close friends with Jay-Z and his superstar wife Beyoncé.
In fact, they were among just a handful of guests who got to witness Jay and Beyonce’s super-secret nuptials in 2008.
People.com quotes Paltrow who made the confession about her kids’ familial nickname for the rapper three years ago. The actress joked, “Yes, it’s true; my kids call Jay-Z ‘Uncle Jay.’ I call him ‘Uncle Jay’ too now.”
Jay-Z and Kanye West kicked off the European leg of their “Watch The Throne Tour” at London’s O2 Arena Sunday.
