Gwyneth Paltrow Tweets “N***as in Paris for real” Then Defends Her Caption : Was She Right or Wrong
Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow is defending her use of the racially-charged “N” word in reference to a song by hip-hop stars Jay-Z and Kanye West.
Paltrow, who is close friends with Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé, took to Twitter Friday to tweet a picture of herself at the rappers’ “Watch The Throne” tour stop in Paris Friday.
She added the caption “N***as in Paris for real.” “N***** in Paris” is the title of the Jay-Z Kanye song, which the duo reportedly performed eleven times that same night.
Paltrow’s tweet triggered a wave of controversy online with fans questioning the actress’ use of the word.
She later responded via Twitter saying, “Hold up, It’s the title of the song!”
I will say this I tell all my white friends its cool to use the N-word while you with me, but on twitter not so much.. Since most of Gwyneth fans are white the tweet not so cool but only cause of her following.
If it was Eminem’s tweet, because of his following, he might have gotten a past … But those are her friends and she stay by their side so I will give her a pass this time … What do you think?
