Kendrick Lamar Announces October Release Date For Debut
Kendrick Lamar has booked a date for his official debut.
The up-and-coming rapper from California took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that his first album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” will be released on October 2nd.
The record follows Lamar’s acclaimed mixtape, “Section.80,” which he dropped last summer.
Meanwhile, Kendrick is in the midst of a short trek through Europe.
He played shows in London and Amsterdam earlier this week, and is set to take the stage tonight in Paris. He’ll also be performing here in the states next month at Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival.
