Ne-Yo Admits To Getting Married At Age 19

R&B singer Ne-Yo is fessing up to a big secret about his past. TMZ caught up with the singer and unexpectedly asked him if he had ever been married.

It turns out, Ne-Yo was hitched about eleven years ago when he was 19-years old. He says the marriage lasted for less than a year before the couple had it annulled.

Apparently, the relationship went south because Ne-Yo wanted to pursue his music career, but she didn’t want him to.

Ne-Yo says he eventually chose music over her because it’s the only thing he’s ever loved.

While the marriage was virtually unknown to the public before now, Ne-Yo says he wasn’t trying to keep it a secret. He simply says that “nobody ever really asked.”
