Official Announcement : Oprah New Online Book Club 2.0
Oprah Winfrey’s book club was a social phenomenon in itself. When Oprah put her name on a book, it was golden. Winfrey has announced the return of her book club, but this time in digital form.
The club is going to come back next week and will be part of her Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) on cable television.
OWN has seen declining ratings this year and suffered a whopping $300 million dollar loss. This has led to the team brainstorming on ways to get things back on track.
The New York Times says that any book recommended by Oprah would go over one million in sales. Do you think she still have that kind of power?
