The E-commerce giant has much more to share when it comes to adding jobs in the Seattle Suburb called Bellevue. Yes, the company is adding a staff of 15,000 in the region claimed the company this Thursday. The new workforce in the suburb would be working from the plush tower in the city that remains the new building of the company. The eCommerce giant is planning to get the 43 story tower that remains the tallest in the area and remains underway. Amazon now plans for this proposed building and it is referred to Bellevue 600 that were seen remained unveiled last July.
The building will be of one million square feet of office space and is thus expected to be completed by the year 2024. Amazon is expected to bring out more than 15,000 jobs in the area in the coming few years. More than 2000 employees are now engaged in the suburb along with the 700 openings in the city at the moment. The company is now opening up its first office building based in the said suburb in 2017. Interestingly the suburb Bellevue is the place where the company had kicked off its business. The company founder formed this company way back in 1994 with 1540 sq feet home in West Bellevue.
Amazon has its HQ based in Seattle and it has plans to expand despite the increasing tensions amidst the local officials.
