As per the sources close to the company, the tech giant with its research and development group is secretly working on this venture under its cloud division, AWS. As per reports, a small team of people including the scientists and technologists are currently working on this ailment that remains the most common illness in the world. With the team still working on it, the reports suggest that they are hoping to develop a vaccine and they are busy exploring different approaches to this issue. 

Internally, the company is calling it to be a vaccine project. The colds can cost even the US economy, which seems to have been estimated to be around 40 billion USD per year. Both with the physician visits and lost productivity, the landmark 2003 study from the said University of Michigan, things are progressing well. Having said that, the number remains far higher today. That study then found that the common colds, which has appeared in the last week, more then 200 million missed school days are because of this problem, which even keep the parents back at home.

The venture under Grand Challenge seems to have been publicly addressed by the company and is all set to handle this big by finding out the right solution, which can have some vital impact over humanity. The group at times is called as the code name 1492 that is carried out by Babak Parviz, who has previously worked at the research and development wing of the company which used to be known as Google X. With the oly hope that comes the next is to build up a good business internally instead of face the destruction from the outside forces.
