Facebook announces $100 Million Programs for Small Businesses Affected by Coronavirus

In the latest move by the social networking giant site called Facebook, its owner Mark Zuckerberg has now announced that Facebook would invest 100 Million USD for helping all the small-time businesses in the US which are affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. So, all the small size businesses that are getting affected by the same including the ones with small size gyms and restaurants are now going to get the good help from Facebook. In its issued statement the company letter read that they are very well aware of the fact that businesses today are experiencing disruptions due to the Coronavirus (Covid 19) outbreak, hence they have decided to help the distress by giving financial support of 100 Million USD to their credit for helping in a challenging time. 

Facebook has announced the same on the blog post where it decided to offer the program for helping out businesses like any government agency not just one or two states but all across the US by urging the owners of gyms and restaurants, which are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Further talking about the same Facebook was seen granting the money for not less than 30k small business owners not just in the US but in other nations as well. In total they plan to offer 3333 USD per business in not less than 30 nations. The company has been going great guns when it comes to their earnings reaching to around 21.08 Billion USD in the fourth quarter alone last year. Soon the Facebook officers are going to accept the applications in the coming weeks.

Facebook said that the program can help businesses with the help of rent operation cost along with maintaining the workforce along with connecting new customer base. Facebook seems to have helped small businesses in the service domain who have been small players and giving their services and products at lower cost thus remaining active in the small and relevant groups of users. While talking about the same the CEO of the company Sandberg of the company was seen talking about the marketing industry that remains bound to take a big hit resulting in the fallout of coronavirus. While talking about the same, Sandberg was seen saying on her Facebook page announcing to expand their virtual training for supporting the operations of small size businesses for settling down the environment. She further said that the program is likely to start in the coming few weeks for sure.
