The IBM CEO Arvind Krishna takes the Charge from Today

It’s already in the news that Indian origin IT professional Arvind Krishna is the new CEO of IBM. Today on Monday, he has taken the charge of the new role of CEO in his company. As we took up the charge, he was not seen shaking hands with any of the employees or doing things like preparing for a speech before the company’s crowd at the IBM Headquarters based at Armonk, New York in the US. Rather, he would only rely on the communications tools like email. Rather he would be relying over the tools including email, webcast and slack to help him in getting the message all over the company. This company seems to have sustained in the tough time before. There is a plan for brighter days ahead.

As this man takes up the charge of CEO of IBM today, he will have a pivotal moment for IBM amidst the coronavirus pandemic. It has a tech product called Big Blue that is no longer seen with the towers seen about the technology landscape, which seems to have gotten into the generation ago. While the executives are seen getting focused on shedding the less profitable businesses, which seemed to have struggled to grow the sales. In the recent market rout, the market capitalization of the company is seen reaching to less than 100 billion USD as of Friday’s close regarding over a tenth the value of the rivals Microsoft over Amazon.

In the meantime, the investors of the company are seen paying more attention over the west coast darlings. However, looking at IBM’s naysayers, it would be interesting to check where they have gone wrong. The new CEO was seen saying that the company has been poised in a big way. The new CEO called me a technologist along with the business chops. He would be seen leading the renowned research division of the company and thus was seen driving the force behind the 34 billion USD acquisition of Red Hat as and held in 2018. He has been in the company for around three decades. On the first day, the company CEO was seen sending an email on day one. The CEO was seen focussing on areas like artificial intelligence along the hybrid cloud like the key technologies for the future. He is seen making the legacy of the company vital by offering the core technology making things indispensable during the high-pressure times as the current situation.

While addressing the current issue, he said that the role of the company all across the world will bring out new things to light about the issue. He further added saying that the company has remained the backbone to the world with having the critical systems. He added that today one has to rely on the license to operate. It is radically very much different from the competitors are touting, which is seen coming out with the departure from the recent IBM messaging.
