Some of the Android-based users were seen spotting the dark mode feature over the Facebook app and even shared the same over Reddit platform. Although has not discussed anything about the same officially, the sources close to the Tech giant claim that they are testing the favorites feature.
Facebook Dark Mode Spotted Online
The fact of the matter is the dark mode feature of Facebook was caught online and a few of the users on the web were able to get the screenshot as well posting at different places. It was one of the Android-based users who was seen talking about the dark mode that featured the Facebook, however, it soon vanished from the web. It was later noted that the users did not carried out the things manually but the dark mode feature was seen added up automatically.
Besides, the Reddit post, the dark mode at Facebook was also seen getting shared over the Microblogging site – Twitter by two users. With these updates coming at Twitter and Reddit, it would be fair to say that Facebook testing the same at the moment and would soon going to launch with this feature in the coming time. However, a majority of posts talking about the dark mode of Facebook was only noticed by the Android-based users and not by any iOS-based user. However, it would be unfair to claim that this feature is only meant and brought out for the Android-based users and not for the iOS. The fact is it would be brought up for both the popular platforms.
Also, it was reported that Facebook is testing for this new feature and it will remain very much similar to Instagram’s feature meant for Close Friends. The Favorites on Instagram happens to be a feature that helps the users to share their personal stories with close friends who are added in their favorite list. This was posted over Twitter and then was reported by Tech Crunch. As per reports, the officials of Facebook claimed that they have some prototypes, which are developed by the messenger team. In this, the users will have the opportunity to add ten different friends to the favorite list by choosing the algorithmic suggestions or manually.
