Google in Legal Soup as US Labour Group alleges illegal firing or workers

As we hear Larry Page stepping down from the CEO position, the other side Google maker’s news for getting into a legal tangle. As per the CWA or Communications Workers of America Union, a federal labour charge against the Alphabet Inc of Google stating that the company has fired four of its employees in an unlawful way just to deter them in some union activities. The complaint will not boost up the NLRB or National Labour Relations Board investigation about the fact whether how Google has violated the rights of these individuals to collectively raise the concerns regarding the working conditions.

Google has further fired four of its employees simply to discourage and chill employees from engaging them into protected and concerted union activities. The action by the tech giant seems to fall under antithesis of liberty and transparency its publicly touts. However, Google is yet to respond about commenting on the filing thing though it has claimed to fire four workers on the charges of data security policies. Last month Google was seen acknowledging the hiring a consultancy that was known to beat the unionism.

Talking about the CWA union, the body represents more than 7,00,000 employees hailing from North America who are engaged in AT&T Inc, Walt Disney Co and companies in several other industries claimed Laurie Burgess, a known attorney at Messing Adam & Jasmine who has been engaged in NLRB filing. The union was seen coming forward to make the required charges against the group as it has been tarnished by the action of the Tech giant claimed the union. If the investigations find out Google at fault, the Union would try to settle down the issue by seeking the help of the court.

Reacting to the firing issue, one of the employees called Paul Duke in his tweet claimed that he along with his other colleagues were fired for asking better working conditions not just for employees but for third party groups like vendors and contractors. He along with the other social media posts have alleged that the Tech giant had to pay the price for their activism which they have been carrying out since past two years. They had to face this for speaking out the truth. He along with two more employees called Sophie Waldman and Laurence Berland  had publicly signed a petition in August, asking Google to reject the business that they have been required for the three U.S. immigration agencies, which have the mistreated migrants. On the other side, the fourth fired worker called Rebecca Rivers had to face this end as she had protested against the Google policies that deals with undermining the identity of gay, lesbian or transperson within the company.
