Google Chrome Will Now Warn You On Your Password Theft

The cases of getting the password stolen by any hacker or some anti-social elements seemed to be on the rise. The hackers steal passwords and get access to the data of others. The tech giants have worked hard to fix these issues by keeping the hackers and malware creators at bay and adding strength to the users. They prevent them to access personal data and thus make them exploit the personal information. In the recent efforts by tech giants like Google, we see the web browser from the company would now alert the user if he or she loses the password to someone.

Once you type your credentials on any portal, the Chrome would not warn you that your user name and password seems to have compromised for issues like the data breach over any app or site. That’s not all, it also suggests you that you change your password wherever you have used it to play safely on the online world claimed the tech giant product manager, Mr AbdelKarim Mardini, at Google. The giant company has now invented a technology adding power to it in the recent few months with the section called the Checkup extension that is to be followed by Password Checkup over the Google Account. The Google man informed us that the company has been rolling out this update on a gradual basis.

Having said that the Google Chrome is now having the time tested phishing protection feature on your desktop. Thus whenever you visit any malicious website, you would get a warning from the browser. The fact is the Safe Browsing feature from Google would be featuring several unsafe websites, which are being refreshed all the time in every half an hour. This will somewhere be going to nullify the efforts of phishing sites. The real-time execution will make things happen for you.

With this effort, Google seems to have been fair in its claim that it is expanding with a higher version for phishing protections. For now, if you are a user who has been signed up in Google Chrome and has even enabled the Sync in it, with the help of the predictive phishing protection feature, you would get a warning if any of the Google Account passwords have been compromised for issues like phishing. However, with the recent feature added, Chrome is going to secure the Google account password in a big way even though you have not synced the account. This will be stored in the password manager and would be working fine.

Soon the users are likely to get an update on this in the form of a small visual to give proper clarity about this feature. The desktop users will now get additional security features for password protection, just keep on checking the same coming soon. This update is likely to be rolled out soon by this weekend claimed the tech giant in their recent blog post. So, enjoy this update soon!
