As per the recent update, the world’s most popular application called WhatsApp is going to take legal action against all the businesses and other groups who have been involved in abusing others using the bulk messaging on this platform. The company has developed two key tools – the WhatsApp Business App and WhatsApp Business API. These are meant to help companies manage a number of customer interactions. The company then said that the products are not intended for any bulk or automated messages as both of them fall under the violation when it comes to the terms of service.

Now, the messaging app would be taking legal action against the people who are engaged in abusing and violating the terms of service including the bulk messages or the non-personal use even if you find the determination being based on the info that is completely available over the platform, claimed the statement issued by the company. For instance, if the off-platform info is seen having the public claims from businesses or companies regarding the capability of using this app to violate the terms, then the legal penalization would come into fore.

The company has warned the group indulged in such acts and would be coming with a deadline to stop these activities or face the music claimed the official statement. On an average the app has banned more than two million accounts per month for such act and have even checked the behaviour of the users to a great extent keeping a check over the user reports. The accounts that are sending more than 100 messages within five minutes are the ones who remain the culprit in this regard. These are the accounts who tend to create loads of groups and thus add many of the users in their current groups for such things.

As per the company statement, the app has now blocked millions of accounts indulged in it and now have embarked with better systems to keep a check on these messages to reduce the rise of hate and abuse in the social life. However, it is yet to take any legal action for the banned accounts earlier. Now, with the fresh updates coming from the company on this, they would start taking legal actions and suing people and businesses using the app for abuse. On the other side, WhatsApp has claimed that they would remain committed for businesses who are willing to use it in a better way.
