Google, Apple, and Amazon unite to make smart devices compatible with each other

What is common between Google, Amazon and Apple, well, nothing really. However, now as per the latest the three tech giants in three different fields have come together to make their voice assistant apps to become compatible with each other. All these companies have one more thing in common they are also the biggest smart home and voice assistant providers. The trio is seen coming seen together with the internet to make the home with the internet simpler to establish and can be used with greater safety. As per reports, the rivals informed they are seen working with the Zigbee Alliance.

It is a foundation, which promotes the benchmarks for the technologies like Internet Of Things along with the members like Samsung Electronics Co., IKEA and Somfy SA along with the new yardstick, which will ensure their products that seem working with yet one another. Although one can find an increasing amount of homes that can be easily controlled using the voice-activated speaker or remote application from the thermostats to the fridge, lights and other things. However, the dearth to the industry-wide connectivity norms tends to make the users perplexed and dejected while trying to see the device working in the smart home environment claims the engineers at Google.

However, this is not the case with Apple as it has limited support for the devices and that with the help of using HomeKit standard. As per the global smart home market, this industry is likely to group to $174.2 billion by 2025 which is currently at $55.7 billion as recorded in 2016. However, with this move, the issues of security and privacy are going to aspire in a big way. We have seen both Google and Amazon collecting date every time any user is seen using their smart speaker. They have asked companies like Logitech Co who has designed these devices to do the needful even after when we seen the users even switching the device. At the same time, we see the devices raising issues of personal data that is being shared by a wide range of companies. Some of these are seen raising the prospect of any personal data or the companies dealing with issues like lax security or privacy standards.
