Artificial Intelligence is no doubt a big boon in this world, however, a few notable scientists feel that it can be a bane to an extent that it can prove out to be an evil to all. We know AI to be among the hot topic of discussion in the recent past and people now have started putting some concerns about the same. The same people feel that by creating something that remain smarter than human beings and prove fatal to the very same people who want to employ the same. As per reports, Rich Walker a known Scientist at Shadow Robot Company and also the Director of the asme group is among the ones who feel the growing unregulated development of AI technology can prove lethal to the people.
If we see the technology is employed it should be used in the same way we have seen treating the technologies people have been using for the desperate situations. We do not allow people to use chemical during the war claims the experts. In the same way, the people cannot be allowed to use the biological weapons along with using the land mines along with the cluster mines in a heavy way as seen and regulated or controlled. The reports also suggest that there can be a certain amount of weapons that are not acceptable but with the use of AI it can be seen in use.
Rich Walker is not alone when it comes to giving his views about AI and showcasing the negative sides of this technology. There are many people who claim that creating AI is nothing but putting things in a perfect way in all aspects of our lives that can be lethal if you do not see the right amount of precautions. Earlier in Jan 2019, in the Global Conference on AI in Shanghai, we saw a notable expert called Elon Musk sharing his views about AI. He was seen saying that he feels people often underestimate the power and capability of Artificial Intelligence. He further said that they sort of think alike and it is a smart human.
But it is really too much, which is going that much with a great pace. It will be seen in a much smarter way than the smartest human. It will be similar to the animal called chimpanzee, which really pose to understand humans? Well, not really, you know. He further added saying that it simply seems like the strange aliens.
