Security cameras play a vital role when it comes to keeping an eye over your home or offices. These help in ensuring all your privacy and safety. But can you imagine, the very same camera can be used to violate the privacy and security of a person when anyone shares the footage to any unknown people without seeking your permission? Google in the recent movie has seen reporting killing the Xiaomi to access the Nest Hub along with Assistant once the user is seen reporting the same to your device as shown with the still images from anyone using the camera. 

The videos and images shared by a Reddit user will allow you to catch the still from anyone’s room where the man is sleeping , while the other showcases the image of any sleeping baby, along with someone showcasing a child playing with his or her toys. Perhaps the other could show a creepier image of the same. Oe of the users was seen claiming that the images that were seen over the Nest Hub was seen showcasing a different time zone without any external interference. One of the reports suggested that the users was from the Netherlands.

The experts feel that this incident could eb from Google Nest Hub or Google Assistant. However, when the Android Police was called up for the same, Google then released a statement claiming that the company is aware about this problem and that they would contact the people at Xiami to sort out things in case if it exists. Meanwhile, the company claimed that it is disabling Xiami integrations over their devices. To this, the Reddit user was seen confirming the Nest Hub will no longer would be working on the Xiaomi camera. 

On the other side, the Xiaomi spokesperson claimed that Xiaomi seems to have often prioritised tje privacy and information security of the users. It further said that the company is very much aware of the issue of receiving stills when it comes to connecting the Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080p on the Google Home hub. The company further posed an apology for the inconvenience caused to the users.

We have seen the team acting on time to sort out the issue and the company claims that it has been fixed now. It further claimed that their further investigation on the matter has found out an issue that has been caused by a cache update that was seen coming on the other day of Christmas of 2019. This was further designed to improve upon the streaming quality of the camera. While it only happened during the rare conditions. In this case, it seems to have happened only during the integration found in between Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080 along with the Google Home Hub that comes with the display screen coming under the bad network conditions.

The company further claimed that they have found around 1044 users playing with such integrations, while just a few with some extremely poor network conditions were seen getting hampered. It further said that this issue is not going to work out if the camera is seen getting linked to Mi Home app of the Xiaomi. The company further communicated along with fixing the issue with Google and later it suspended this service till the root cause has been sorted out completely to make sure the issues would not return.
