The two rivals Google and Apple leave no stone unturned to let down the other. This keeps both the companies on the toe to check the bugs in their systems they develop and fix the same. Last month, we saw Apple fixing a number of bugs in their browser called Safari, which has allowed many third party sites to track the browsing habits of the users. As per the paper published by the security team of the tech giant, the company then was seen notified by Apple of several flaws found in anti-tracking technology along with Intelligent Tracking Prevention or ITP in August. 

In the year 2017, Apple was seen coming out with this technology called ITP that remained the highly competitive privacy protection kits for the world wide web all over the world. This system was then seen clearing up the first party cookies on a regular basis along with blocking the third party cookies by default thus making things difficult for the internet advertisers to track the users. The team of Google then was seen releasing the list of vulnerabilities on the said papers that could have resulted over the third-party company that helped getting hold of private and sensitive browsing information. 

The very flaw then was seen allowing the website to carry out the cross-site attack and thus seen introducing the other domain over the ITP list. However, Apple was seen fixing these issues and flaws within the browser, but thanks to the team of Google that brought out the issue without getting into the specifics. This made the company Apple feel thankful about the same and fixing the issues without any hassle or hesitation by sending them the report. It further said how Google has helped Apple to find out not only the web content but at the same time fixt the same by tracking prevention solution.

Google also helped Apple to sort out the bad things that are plausible with such detection. Their responsible disclosure practice was seen allowing up to test and design the required changes as cited by Google. It was in August when Google team was seen finding out the series of web exploits that were targeted to Uyghur Muslims in China, with the help of this vulnerabilities found in iOS. However, on the other side, we see Chrome the browser of Chrome too being slammed for not having of privacy protecting tools. We soon heard last week from Google that they are going to follow Firefox and Safari for blocking all third-party cookies, however, this will take time not less than two years.
